I write and perform folk, country and blues inspired music. You can catch me solo, and as one third of folk trio Nightingales Watch with my musical partner in crime Joseph Emmett and Rachel Wilson Dickson.

My first solo album ‘Most everything’ was released on 1 May 2022. It was recorded at Polyphonic Recording in Stroud with Lukas Drinkwater. I’m delighted that Lukas lent his musical talents to the tracks, along with the excellent Aaron Catlow on Violin. I am currently working on a follow up 4 track EP ‘Look for me in the new horizon’ due to be released in 2023.

In past years I played as part of a three piece ‘Ebbing Tides’ and as a duo with Rachel Foster. Together we played at folk clubs, festivals and music venues around the Bristol area.

Before that I wrote and played solo , and with Joseph in various guises including Redkite (not to be confused with other bands of the same name that have come since!) Mostly playing around independent venues in London, a regular haunt being the 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street, now sadly departed.

And even further back, in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s I was playing, writing, gigging and running music nights around Brighton. I played my first ever gig at The Greys on Southover Street.
